A hommage to the victorian era, Jessie Corigliano keeps the serpent alive with this hand-striked band.
Since the launch of Corigliano’s jewelry career, the Spokane-based designer has taken a small approach to one-of-a-kind work, making everything with just her pair of hands. Corigliano’s work is rooted in preserving, yet-modernizing historical jewelry themes as demonstrated by her ever-evolving monogram jewelry collection. Of that collection, her ‘Serif on a Pearl’ series features lustrous coined pearls topped with meticulously placed single-letter monograms. Corigliano studied design at Eastern Washington University, where she learned the technical knowledge of engineering a design and later coupled that with the art of fabrication.
We all do storytelling through the jewelry we wear. Whether it’s a milestone or a memory, it’s all a nice representation of who we are.
