This design was first created with a piece of Medusa Quartz, so I went with a snake theme to represent Medusa, a woman who was seduced by Poseidon in the Temple of Athena with countless venomous snakes on her head. I created two pieces in this series to parallel Michelangelo Merisi da Caravaggio’s famous two depictions of Medusa.

Care
Keep away from chemicals. This includes everyday substances like hairspray, lotions, perfumes, skincare products, and cosmetics. To clean this pendant, use warm water, unscented dish soap, and a soft toothbrush to remove built-up dirt. Make sure to dry it completely with a soft cloth like a flannel before storing it. It’s important to not use jewelry polishing cloths on matte, textured, or oxidized finishes.
